Summer 2017 Exhibits – The Changing Face of Portland

Due to the drastic development changes Portland, Oregon has gone through in the last 3 years, I was inspired to start a small series reflecting on the construction and the altered urban landscape. I do feel change is inevitable and the city did need more housing, but I felt like it was done at a cost to our history and Portland’s unique culture. “Changing Landscapes of Oregon” –  local artists’ interpretations of Oregon’s changing landscapes.

“Scratching the Surface” – an amazing collection of work interpreting this theme.
