Through both mediums I explore the culture of the urban landscape as a whole and in detail. The exhibit will be in the Basil Hallward Gallery at Powell’s Books downtown. north-janey-part-II-pearl-districtI am honored that I was selected to create a series of 7 pieces of artwork to be hung on each of the 7 residential floors of Janey II, a sustainable living apartment complex in downtown Portland in the Pearl District. This is the second of 2 buildings being built by the same organization that renovated the historic Armory Building into the beautiful LEED Certified Gerding Theatre. The project is already underway and I have been developing concepts!

Streetwise show at Verum Ultimum Gallery

Captured By Alberta

Two of my prints are showing in a wonderful “Streetwise” themed show at Verum Ultimum. It is rare for me to be in a themed group show because city life and urban landscape isn’t a commonly used theme. It is an intriguing show with a wide variety of imagery.  I have been highlighted as the featured artist and I have answered some interview questions. The show will be up until the end of May.
