It is a wonderful show of various artists representing Portland. Here is a great article about it primarily highlighting Micah Krock’s work (a great artist and a awesome person), but I get a mention too. You can read it here:…/the-thirteen-artists-chosen-to-cele…/

Large Format Installation at Bronaugh Building in Portland

Bronaugh Building Installation

This is a few shots of a new installation project that I completed recently. This is another large format installation imprinted on plexiglass. This piece resides in a restored historical building, called the Bronaugh Building, which is used for affordable housing. The restoration was coordinated by Reach CDC who also manages affordable housing units throughout the city. They wanted some artwork to represent the city that has a historical look like the Bronaugh Building, but have a bit of modern flair.  The piece is 10 feet long by 5 feet high and feels like it is a part of the wall, but yet has dimension to it. It was an honor to be a part of this restoration project.

“It’s Political” at Gallery 114

Portland in Flux

I am excited to share some brand new work. I have been photographing Portland, Oregon  for 8 years; I know the city well. After the recession lifted, Portland is growing at a insanely rapid pace. While growth is inevitable, and housing is needed, the pace is beyond natural organic growth. The city I know so well is changing at a blink of an eye, which is motivating me to record those changes. Two of my new pieces in this series will be showing at Gallery 114 this month in a show called, “It’s Political”…and this massive growth is definitely a hot political topic in Portland these days.

Opening June 2, 6 – 9 p.m.
June 2 – July 2 (Hours: Thursday-Sunday, 12-6pm)
1100 NW Glisan, Portland, OR. 97209
